Thank you Mandy!

This is a picture of the BEST pickles in the world. For those of you who know me, you know that my whole life I have eaten tons and tons of pickles (it has nothing to do with me being pregnant). Mandy's Nanny makes homemade pickles and I haven't had any since college. On Wednesday Mandy brought me this jar filled to the top and I have managed to almost eat them all. They are DELICIOUS! Thanks again Mandy.

Before Jeff's Wedding

We went to 2 weddings this past weekend and we have one to go to the next two weekends. Seems like everyone we know is getting married or having a baby. Saturday after the tea we went to our friend Jeff's wedding. It was beautiful and the food was great. Kim's wedding was on Sunday and it was pretty too, they had a pasta station that I LOVED. I will post more pics from the upcoming weddings whenever I get a chance. You better get used to seeing this black dress because I plan on wearing it to both weddings. You gotta get your use out of maternity clothes!

Hadley's Tea

Here are a few pictures from My cousin Alicia's baby tea that we had this past Saturday. Baby Hadley should make her appearance sometime in mid-late November, I can't wait to meet her. Alicia had a great turn out and it was lots of fun. I enjoyed getting to see her open up all of her "girlie" presents. I don't kow yet if we will have some hand me down from Miss Hadley or not. I still haven't felt the baby kick and I really have no feeling about whether it is a boy or girl. No matter what someone is going to be dissapointed, my nephew Ward thinks it is a boy and ALL of my dance students say "it better be a girl". I actually only have 1 student that said she would still be happy even it was a boy. Time will tell, only 9 more days!

New Picture

This is a picture of me and Scott's cousin (my cousin-in-law???) from last weekend. I'm not really quite as big as I look in this picture but I am getting there. I should have tons of pictures from this weekend because we have lots going on. I have my cousin Alicia's baby tea, Jeff Stevens wedding, and Kim Darabaris' wedding. I'll be sure to post pics on sunday night or monday morning.

Fishing

On Sunday Scott finally had a day where he had nothing to do. After catching up on some much needed rest he got a fishing rod (I didn't even know we owned one) and went to the little creek beside our house. He didn't even get any bites although he wasn't out there very long. I managed to catch some moss and plants. Maybe he will have better luck next time.

Boy or Girl

I have an appointment on the 25th of October to hopefully find out the gender of our child. I haven't really had any feelings about what I think it is. If it is a boy his name will be John-Thomas Surtees Pruitt (His first name will be John-Thomas and he will go by both names and his middle name will be Surtees). John after Scott's Dad, Thomas after my Dad, and of course Surtees is my maiden name. If we have a baby girl her name will be August Lee and we of course will just call her August. The name August is after our friend Augie (his real name is August) and Lee is after my brother and that is also Jason (Scott's brother) middle name. I guess no matter what our child will have namesake's.
Scott won't be home to go the appointment with me (tear) so I will have to think of a way to suprise him when he gets home later that night. I am SO ready for him to be at home during the week and the weekends. He is such a hard worker.

Our sweet Libby

We FINALLY got a new camera and I have been snapping away. Here are just a couple pictures of our dog Libby. I got her when I lived in Auburn and she will turn 10 in February. She is really starting to show her age in her face and her slow pace. She is SO smart and is a little possesive, so we aren't quite sure how she will react to having a baby around the house.
I caught her in our extra bedroom laying on the bed. This is the 1 room I don't allow her in but she seems to go in there as soon as I leave the house. Her Dad isn't very good at helping me out with this rule, when I showed him this picture he just said "she looks so cute curled up on the bed". What am I going to do?!?
