BIG cousin

I thought this picture was so funny that I had to share. Look how happy Ward is and how miserable John Thomas looks. I can't wait to see them up and running around with each other.

My mom took Me, John Thomas, Krista and Ward to Seaside, FL this past week. The weather was great and everyone seemed to have really enjoyed themselves. If you can believe it we all even made down there in 1 car. We had all of the adult's luggage plus stuff for a 2 month old and a 2 year old, including Ward's bicycle. Luckily it was a Ford Expedition but it was still packed. We had to stop on the way there and back for Ward to use the restroom on the side of the road and we all got a big kick out of it. Scott stayed at home for work and was happy to see us return on Friday.
Hopefully my blogs won't be so few and far between. I am off for the summer (YEA!!) and plan on doing nothing but enjoying my baby boy. I feel like I missed a lot at the beginning b/c I had to return to work when he was 2 weeks old but now I can play catch up.

Mommy and Daddy's Bed

Every morning Scott puts John Thomas in the bed with me so we can both get a few extra hours sleep. I usually try to get up a little earlier than him so I can get a few things done around the house. I also have a small confession to make. I was going to go get a new digital camera because all of my images have been blurry. While at the beack last week my Sister in Law informed it was because my lense was dirty. I feel stupid.........Thanks Krista!!! Now that my camera is back up to par I will take more pictures and blog more.

Troublemaker!!!

Everyone has asked me how all of the animals are liking John Thomas. Libby pretty much ignores him and has only sniffed him once or twice. She has also been put outside a lot more and tries to squeeze in any door whenever she gets a chance. I don't think Miss Chitty has even noticed him being here. As for Mr. Black.........he has been a handful. From the first day home he has seemed to have loved being in John Thomas' room. I believe he thinks the changing table was put there just for him and I am constantly having to change pad covers and scare him away. I thought he was outside the other night and when I got up to check on the baby he was asleep on the back of his rocker (sneaky, sneaky). He was my baby for so long but since had to move to 2nd place, I hope he learns how to cope better with his jealousy.
