Somebody is Teething

I'm not sure if you can tell in these pictures but Big'n has become quite a drooler. The bottom, left tooth has already broken through the gum and we are just waiting for it to come in ALL the way. The bottom right tooth can be seen a little but not much. They seem to really bother him in the evening. We are using Orajel and Tylenol and they both seem to do the trick. Maybe I can get some pictures soon with him showing his teeth.

A visit with Kate

John Thomas and I made a quick stop on Tuesday to see Kate. She was SO good. I managed to get a couple cute pictures and we even had to get Ward's dump truck and monster truck in the shoot. Ward carefully (supervised by me) pushed the dump truck around while John Thomas rode in the back.

mmmmmm.............Nanners

Well, we have continued on the banana train and he seems to like them now. I didn't know what Scott and I would do if we had a child that didn't like bananas because we both LOVE them. We will be trying peaches in the near future. By the way you should see the straps on his new highchair
it looks like he is prepared to go to the moon. Better safe than sorry.

Play Day at Paw Paw's

Last Friday, John Thomas, Hadley, Ward and Ava were all at Paw Paw's having a good time. Paw Paw is doing OK and is now at home. John Thomas spent Friday evening over there with My Mom and slept from 9pm to 9am. WOW!!!! It seems he gets his sleeping habits from his Mammy.

Kate Elizabeth Surtees arrived on Wednesay afternoon at 4:23. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 10 oz and is 20 3/4 inches long. She has a head FULL of dark hair and looks a lot like her mommy. We are so happy to have her here and glad everything went well for Krista. I took pictures tonight and will get them uploaded in the morning.

First Feeding

At our visit with Dr. Hardwick he said we could try to give John Thomas some food and cereal if we wanted to. We had a little cereal with some bananas last night. Most of it ended up on his bib or face but I think he managed to get a little in his tummy. I can't say that he was a huge fan of bananas but we are gonig to keep trying them. I can't get over how big my baby looks in these pictures.
