Scott Jr.

I got another ultrasound today and they made us a video that I am trying to figure out how to download. You can't really tell in this picture but John Thomas looks a lot like Scott. Well, he looks as much like Scott as he can at this stage. Maybe next time we see him we will be able to tell if there is any "Surtees" in him at all.

Almost Finished

Well we finally got the computer room moved and almost finished. We still have to put up the curtains and move a few things around but for the most part the room is done. The chair in the corner belonged to my late grandparents and I am thinking about getting it recovered. We are going to get started on nursery in the weeks to come.

John Thomas

First of all I though I would let everyone know that Scott decided he did not like the dash in John-Thomas so we will now be spelling our son's name with no dash in the middle (I liked it, but not enough to really put up a fight for it). He is already getting some presents and everything is so cute. The bottom picture is of one of Scott's shirts and a little shirt we bought for John Thomas. I can't wait to see him in it.

My "Handyman" strikes again!

We are moving our study/den to the front of our house so that John Thomas' room can be in the back of the house. I wish I had some before pictures b/c Scott has been working hard to get everything in order. He has painted and pulled up the carpet so we could have hardwood flooring in that room (It was already under the carpet). Of course everytime we do something new to our house we have obstacles in the way. After Scott got all of the carpet pulled up we realized there was paint splattered ALL over the floor. It wasn't really in our budget to refinish the hardwoods so Scott decided to try to get the paint up himself. He spent 6 hours on Saturday with some Goo Gone, a putty knife, a rag, and fine steelwool cloth cleaning the paint off of the floor. As you can see in the "before" and "after" picture he was successful in making everything look good. What would I do without him?

My Sweet Dad

These are roses that were sent to me from my Dad. The day after I found out we were gonna have a boy I came home to find them on my front porch. I know everyone thinks they have the best Dad in the world but when I say it I mean it, he is so good at making me feel special. Thanks Dad!
